Spaniel II is a fast-acting systemic fungicide that works well in cooler weather conditions and will protect grass as it grows. The active ingredient, propiconazole, is absorbed quickly into the plant, usually within an hour of treatment and is then translocated upwards throughout the plant in the xylem vessels. This ensures even distribution of the chemical throughout the whole plant.
Spaniel II is a broad acting fungicide with label recommendations for control of Fusarium Patch (Microdochium), Dollar Spot, Anthracnose and Brown Patch on managed amenity turf.
As Spaniel II has protectant, curative and eradicant properties, it is best to apply it either when weather conditions become favourable for disease infection or at the very first stages of disease symptoms.
