We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Customer Experience Team at our Saxilby office.
About The Role
As a Customer Experience Administrator, you will play a key role in our customers’ journey by providing excellent and proactive service.
You will be responsible for managing customer enquiries via multiple different channels as well as interacting with all areas of the business and external customers and suppliers. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires strong communication skills and a confident, professional attitude.
Key Responsibilities
• Dealing with customer enquiries via telephone, email and online selling platforms in a timely manner
• Liaising with couriers and suppliers to ensure a smooth delivery experience and resolution of problems
• Raising claims, product returns and replacements efficiently
• Maintaining accurate records of interactions and transactions
• Tracking customers’ orders and offering solutions to problems
• Supporting the Customer Experience Team and wider business where needed
Essential Skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• Good IT skills, including confidence in using Microsoft Office and payment systems
• Basic Mathematics and English
• Confident working in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Skills
• Previous customer service experience
• Knowledge or experience of the industry

As part of our progressive growth, we currently have an opening for Telephone Sales roles within our sales team based at our Head Office. This is a diverse role where you will be responsible for overseeing and developing of a sales ledger offering the most up-to-date advice in order to help our customer base.
You will have a proven track record of telephone sales, ideally with relevant industry experience. You will be commercially savvy and have a good understanding about our customer base & the products we sell, where you will be able to advise on new products or sectors to look at. You will be highly organised and be able to keep cool under pressure. You will have excellent IT skills and be familiar with Outlook, CRM systems, customer databases, Office and various web-based programs.
Roles & Responsibilities
Your role will include, but not limited to the following tasks;
- To develop & manage our base of telephone customers.
- To oversee and develop the company’s telephone sales. This may include;
- Lead generation and appointments, pitching to potential clients by cold calling.
- Prospect new leads & look at adding additional value to existing customers that may be handed to you.
- To respond to calls, emails & customers where you will advise them in a manner to assist with their requirements.
- To be involved with any sales driven marketing campaigns.
- To work against your own tailored margin sales budget.
Personal Specification
- Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office & a CRM system
- Proven telephone sales experience.
- Initiative – ability to drive own workload forward
- A passion for accuracy and strict attention to detail is essential
- Professional and friendly communication skills required when conversing either face to face, over the phone or by email with customers, colleagues, hauliers, and suppliers
- Team-work – critical to the success of this business, often multi-tasking to support colleagues within their roles when pressure points arise throughout the busy season
This is a full-time position working from 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday-Friday, although due to the seasonality of the position, hours will more than likely be higher in the Spring. There may be exceptions such as busy periods where you may have to work different hours. Advanced notice would be given to any of the above.
You will be working from our head office Gem House, Riverside Enterprise Park, Saxilby, Lincoln, LN1 2FU, although we may expect you to be on the road visiting customers when required.
We are offering a highly attractive salary along with a generous OTE bonus scheme. There will also be further progression available. You will be entitled to 23 days’ holiday per year (plus public holidays). We would request that holidays are not taken through the busiest time, typically March-July (although exceptions could be made).
