John Chambers Heritage Flowering Lawn 100% Wildflower Seed Mix is part of the John Chambers Heritage Range, a collection of British native mixes developed and specified by landscapers, architects and garden designers over more than 35 years. The range retains the original founder recipes created by John Chambers, offering proven, traditional mixtures with a long track record in UK projects. 

Supplied to an optimum quality for exceptional germination, this seed is hand-cleaned to help ensure a pure, uncontaminated product arrives on site. For added assurance, every Heritage mix can be supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity, detailing the species, origin and recipe, supporting quality control and giving confidence to specifiers, installers and clients.

The Flowering Lawn Mix is a lower-growing wildflower blend designed to create a flowering lawn that can be regularly cut throughout the season.

For best results, sow onto a clean, weed-free site and remove or control annual weeds using mechanical cultivation or a suitable contact herbicide. Persistent perennial weeds such as docks, thistles, nettles and couch grass should be treated in advance with an appropriate total weed killer such as Roundup Pro Active. Once clear, cultivate the ground to create a fine, level seedbed. Broadcast the seed mix evenly, then roll to firm the surface. Strong soil to seed contact is essential for reliable germination.

• Sow at 1-2g per m².
• Shake the bag well before use. 
• For the best results, mix the seed with dry sand, dry sifted topsoil or sawdust and evenly broadcast.
• Lightly rake and roll to ensure the seed sits in moist soil.
