With an 80% grass seed base for stable, long-term cover, it creates a natural, layered meadow effect that complements existing vegetation and supports a thriving wildflower habitat. Specially suited to sowing alongside hedgerows, woodland margins, and other partially shaded or sheltered areas, this mix delivers lasting colour and structure where standard meadow blends may struggle. 

For best results, sow onto a clean, weed-free site and remove or control annual weeds using mechanical cultivation or a suitable contact herbicide. Persistent perennial weeds such as docks, thistles, nettles and couch grass should be treated in advance with an appropriate total weed killer such as Roundup Pro Active. Once clear, cultivate the ground to create a fine, level seedbed. Broadcast the seed mix evenly, then roll to firm the surface. Strong soil to seed contact is essential for reliable germination.
