Rebuild the Goal Mouth

Goal mouths are always the first to go. If yours have turned into dust bowls or mud pits, it’s time for a quick intervention. Use a quality topsoil and seed mix to fill in those hollows. It’s not just about aesthetics; it’s about preventing injuries too.

  • Scatter your topsoil across the bare patches.
  • Spread your seed evenly over the top.
  • Rake it in gently to ensure good seed-to-soil contact.
  • Water immediately.

Fuel the Finish

To help your grass stand up to those final high-intensity matches, it needs a nutritional boost. Apply a 9-7-7 or 10-4-4 fertiliser. These specific ratios provide a balanced ‘pick-me-up’ that promotes steady growth and recovery without causing a massive, unmanageable surge in height.

Beat the Heat

As the temperatures rise, moisture evaporates faster. To keep your pitch from cracking and turning brittle, apply Absorb. This wetting agent helps the soil retain moisture where the roots need it most - an insurance policy against those unexpectedly dry spring weeks.

Crisp Up Lines

Nothing looks better than razor-sharp white lines. As the grass starts growing faster, your markings will fade quickly. Keep them topped up using Sword line marking paint. Not only does it look the part for the final, but it also gives the players (and the ref!) the clarity they need.

You don't need a Premier League budget to have a pitch that lasts. The right seed, feed, and a sharp eye for detail will see you through to the end of season in style.
