ThistleX Pro Selective Weed Killer 5L

ThistleX Pro is a selective herbicide designed for use on established grassland over 12 months old, delivering highly effective control of creeping thistle and spear thistle, aloing with reliable activity against a range of common broad-leaved weeds including buttercups, dandelion, cow parsley and hogweed. 

Suitable for grazed grassland, ThistleX Pro works by translocating through the plant and down into the root system, providing long-lasting weed control while maintaining excellent grass safety. Livestock can return to treated areas 14 days after application. However, the interval may need to be extended where poisonous weeds such as ragwort are present.

Please note, this product is not approved for use through a knapsack sprayer.

DO NOT USE ON Grassland which will be grazed by horses and ponies.

• Apply when thistles are actively growing and between 150-300mm in height for the best results.
• Where thistles have reached the flowering stage, top them first and spray regrowth once it reaches 150-300mm to achieve optimum root kill. 
• Apply ThistleX Pro at 1.67L/ha in 200-400L/ha of water. 
• Use higher water volumes where weed populations are dense or grass cover is thick. 
• Grass or clover can be stiched in 30 days after application.
• Always read the product label before use. 
• Always wear protective clothing, such as Chemical Resistant Gloves, when handling ThistleX Pro.
