Lanzarta has full approval for the control of large pine weevil (Hylobius abietis) - authorising both pre-planting use by forest nurseries and post-planting in the forest.

Authorisation of the product now enables forestry managers to prevent the damaging effects of the Hylobius weevil, while reducing restocking cost and time, and creating a more consistent woodland stand.

Lanzarta is easy and precise to use and binds well to bark – giving long-lasting protection against feeding pests.

• Always read the label and product information before use. 
• Lanzarta may be applied with all types of spray equipment commonly used for making ground applications. Do not apply through ULV sprayers. Ensure that the sprayer is clean and set to give the correct volume and an even deposit. Do not allow spray mixture to stand overnight or for prolonged periods. Make up only the amount of spray required for immediate use.
• Thoroughly wash all spraying equipment immediately after use using three rinses of clean water.
• Hand-held knapsack sprayers: Half fill the spray tank with clean water and add the required quantity of Lanzarta to the tank. Complete filling, mix thoroughly and use immediately.
• Avoid drift onto adjacent crops.
• Forestry (coniferous trees): 20 mL spray solution / tree (60 L water/ha)
